School and Hostel achievements:

  • 7500 blind children and aged blind rehabilitated.
  • Conducted 147 free marriages for blind and other weaker sections of the society.
  • 11260 monthly educational aids provided to physically handicapped.
  • 23650 monthly pensions provided to destitute aged.
  • Medical and financial aid to about 19000 people with leprosy and other handicaps.

  • 274500 out patients were screened free of charge.
  • 27500 free IOL eye surgeries have been performed.
  • Arranged 310free rural eye camps.
  • Organised 20 carnial grafting.
  • Provided 24100 spectacles free of cost.

Services

For Blind, Destitute Aged and HIV affected Mothers and thier Children:
  • Providing three times vegetarian Meals (Under NITYA ANNADAN SCHEME) to blind children, aged people and Hospital patients. Presently number of beneficiaries about 550-600.
  • Providing residential facilities for blind, destitute aged and the orphan Women.
  • School for Blind children upto 10th class, giving special training in music, Handicrafts, Candlemaking, and Computer under Vidyadim Scheme.
  • Service Centre for devotees visiting Tirupati, Tirumala.

Eye care Services:


NAVAJEEVAN CHARITABLE EYE HOSPITAL was Inaugurated by HE Dr. C.Rangarajan, then Governor of A.P. on 27-2-1998 for which foundation stone laid by HE shri. Krishnakanth jee, Former Vice President of India. The Hospital was constructed with the financial support from Mr. Madduri Jagannatha Rao and his family members, New Delhi.

Rendering free services to all categories of people including pilgrims who visit Tirupati.

UNDER NETRADANAM SCHEME,
  • Providing New Vision through Cataract/IOL surgeries with foldable lense under Phaco- Emulsification
  • Providing free spectacles.
  • Providing free accommodation with food for patients and their attendants.
  • Organising Free Weekly rural eye camps under “Grameena Drishti Daana pathakam”.
  • Monthly Free Eye Screening camps for School Children.

Kothapeta (Near Tirupati) - Day Care Centre :
Providing mid-day meals to 30 destitute rural people apart from, Medicare & Clothing, in the premises of ancient Sri Rama Temple on the bank of Aruna River as adviced by H.H. Sri. Paramacharya of Kanchi Kamakotti Peetam.

Varanasi - Kasi - (ANNAKSHETRA):
Providing food and Medicare for the destitutes and Saints (Sadhus). At present number of beneficiaries 30-40 under Annadan scheme on the bank of river Ganga.

Navajeevan Orphanage Home(Anadha Ashram) at Orrisa:

Navajeevan has establised one orphanage home for special children whose parents were affected by HIV and lost their parents.The Orphanage Home is now running at patapatnam near parlakimudi Orrisa and 40 Orphan Children are accomadeted and wish to increase further 30 to 35 children with the great support of kind hearted donorfriends.

 

Orissa Grameena Arogya Scheme (Mission):

The above Scheme was Started on 2nd October 2007-Gandhi Jayanthi Day with the help of Vishwa Hindu Parishad members ,Volantary Services. Navajeevan Trust has appointed 3 qualified Doctors and 30 Village Health Workers for extending Services to the poorest of the poor trible people at Orissa. At Present the Grameena Arogya Scheme is running at Khandhaman, Phoolbani and Ganjam Districts of Orissa State.Throgh this scheme around 9000 poor patients were benifited.Navajeevan wishes to extend primary health schemes to few more remote villages at Orissa and Chattishgarh States with the financial support from our donor devotees.
